mnyside.dll is not part of Windows, but it is important nonetheless. Mnyside.dll is found in a subdirectory of "C:\Program Files". The file size is 163,906 bytes.
This DLL file is a browser plug-in. This could mean that your Internet Explorer has been given additional useful capabilities. However, not all such plug-ins are worthwhile. Some just display advertisements or surreptitiously change your browser settings. The unique identifer of the browser plug-in is 243B17DE-77C7-46BF-B94B-0B5F309A0E64. The file attaches itself to Internet Explorer, the standard Windows browser, possibly in order to monitor surfing activity. For this service - unlike Windows' own system services - there is no good description available. The program executes in the background, and can only be terminated using Windows Task Manager. The file is no part of Microsoft Windows. You may uninstall the related program using Windows Control Panel. Mnyside.dll is capable of interpret keystrokes. For this reason, 52% of all experts consider this file to be a possible threat. The probability that it can cause harm is high.

If you see this file on your hard drive or in Windows Task Manager, please make sure that it is not a malicious variant. It's a fact that many trojans try to cloak their true identity by calling themselves mnyside.dll. With the above information or by using tools like Security Task Manager you can determine if, in your case, the file is an undesirable variant.

This file is a BHO (browser helper object) that is associated with Microsoft Money. Note that the Microsoft site does not list this as a Microsoft DLL! I find that very strange, although I feel this file is safe, if it were on my pc I would disable my BHO entries (disabling BHO entries is safe since it does not delete anything, but only stops them from loading).
